Services: from a fit check to a full growth partnership

Most owners start with a fit and baseline assessment, then either move into the performance-based Growth Partner Program or choose a fixed-fee option. This page explains how the five services connect and how to pick.

There are five services on this site, and they fit together in a simple order: check the fit, set up measurement, do the growth work, and pay either on results or on a fixed fee. Most Ontario owners don't need all five. The sections below explain what each one is for, so you can see where your business would start.

The Growth Partner Program

This is the performance-based option: Ali invests time upfront and is paid on measurable results, under custom terms written for your business. It is the reason this site exists, and it is also the most selective service, because only a limited number of partnerships run at once.

Choose it if you have an established business, a reliable way to count new customers or sales, and the capacity to serve more of them. It is less about your sector and more about whether results can be measured honestly. The full explanation, including what the written terms cover, is on the Growth Partner Program page.

Fit and baseline assessment

This is where nearly every partnership conversation begins, because nobody can price performance without knowing the starting point. The assessment looks at your recent numbers, where customers come from, how enquiries are handled and what can be tracked today.

It answers two questions: can results be measured cleanly, and is there realistic room to grow them? Sometimes the answer is "not yet", which is still useful, because it tells you exactly what to fix first. Read more on the fit and baseline assessment page.

Results measurement setup

If your records can't show where customers came from, this is the work that makes a partnership possible. It covers call and lead tracking, a simple way to tag enquiries by source, and a sales record that links an enquiry to a closed sale.

Plenty of Ontario businesses run on a phone, an inbox and a spreadsheet. That is workable, but only if everyone records the same things the same way. The results measurement page explains what gets set up and why each piece matters.

Growth execution

This is the practical work that moves the numbers: search visibility, the website, paid search where it pays, and the follow-up that turns enquiries into sales. Inside a partnership, it is planned around the agreed measure, so effort goes where it can be counted.

The mix depends on how your customers buy. A Mississauga B2B supplier needs a different plan from a Barrie home-service company. See the growth execution page for the components and how they're chosen.

Hourly, project and retainer consulting

These are the fixed-fee options for owners who prefer a known cost, or who aren't ready for a partnership. They are priced from the published ranges for the group's consulting work: hourly sessions, defined projects and monthly retainers.

They are not a lesser choice. A short project that builds your measurement can be the step that makes a partnership possible later. Details are on the fixed-fee consulting page, and the ranges are on the pricing page.

How to choose, in one table

Match the service to the problem you actually have. If more than one row applies, start with the higher row.

If this sounds like you Start with
"I don't know where my customers come from." Results measurement setup
"I'm curious whether a partnership could work." Fit and baseline assessment
"We measure well and have room to grow." Growth Partner Program
"We know our gaps and need the work done." Growth execution
"I want a fixed budget and clear scope." Fixed-fee consulting

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to commit to a partnership to work with you?

No. Many owners use hourly advice, a project or a retainer with published price ranges. The partnership is one option, offered only where it fits and where a place is available.

Which service should I start with?

If you're curious about the partnership, start with the fit and baseline assessment. If you already know you want a fixed cost, start with the fixed-fee consulting page. The first conversation is free either way.

Are the services sold separately?

Measurement setup and growth execution usually sit inside a partnership, but they can also be scoped as fixed-fee projects. Which way they are paid for is written down before work begins.

Do you do the marketing work, or only advise?

Both, depending on the arrangement. Ali plans the strategy and the work is carried out under his direction, with the scope set out in writing so you know who does what.
